I've loved Mia Michaels' choreography since I first saw her routines on So You Think You Can Dance almost 4 years ago. This last fall I got hooked on another great FOX show, Glee. My question to the network is this: Will Mia Michaels be choreographing for Glee this season?
There are tons of ways they could approach this. My favorite idea is having her make a cameo on the show to choreograph a Vocal Adrenaline and teams up with Sue. At some point crossing Mr. Shoe's path and either crushing on him or crushing him. "That's how Mia ... C's it" -- "Outstanding!"

Man Tit Exercises
I'm one of the men who have fat on my chest. It's embarassing and causes some social akwardness, at least for me. So, the first to this year, I started to diet and exercise. Here I am, 6 months later and 45 lbs lighter and have much smaller, less noticable the man tits.
WARNING: Always consult a physician before starting any exercise routine or diet. I am merely an informed individual and not a professional in any way.
Cardio
Cardio burns fat, always has, always will. The amount of fat burnt depends on your heart rate. At 60%-70% of your maximum heart rate, you are burning fat at a really good rate. To find a 'maximum heart rate calculator', simply google it.
Walking and jogging are two good cardio exercises. They allow you to ramp up & down the intensity at will. If you have knee problems, go slow and use a knee brace only when necessary. My left knee gave me problems for years but since I started jogging there are fewer problems.
Visualize the fat burning up during your cardio, especially when you get that runner's high. The same hormones in that high are telling the fat stores to burn.
Strength Training
On top of cardio, it's important to do at minimum certain chest exercises.
Make sure to drink plenty of water and eat lean proteins.
Here are a couple things to avoid:
Always Make Cheating a Part of Your Diet
This will actually help when sticking to a diet. There is a catch: no cheating after lunch and a max of 4 times a week. If you cheat for dinner, those calories are way more likely to stick around, but if you cheat for lunch or breakfast you are likely to get some subconsciously motivation to burn those extra calories.
Don't Let it Get You Stressed
Stress causes your body to hold onto fat stores. It slows the release rate of one of the runner's high hormones, norepinephrine, which slows the fat burn rate.
Always remember that God made you exactly how you are supposed to be.

On top of cardio, it's important to do at minimum certain chest exercises.
- Incline chest press. This works the upper pec muscle. This will make the man tits look smaller in comparison.
- Decline chest press. This works the lower pec muscle. This will give a nice muscular lower line to the man tit.
- Shoulder press. The added muscle of the shoulder when combined with the upper pec muscle will make the man tit look even smaller.
- Overall training. More muscle means more fat gets burned every day. Plus having nice arms/legs/butt is a good distraction from the man tit.
Make sure to drink plenty of water and eat lean proteins.
Here are a couple things to avoid:
- Anything that makes you retain water, including salt.
- Anything labeled as 'diet', these sometimes make you retain water.
- Anything that has a lot of fat.

First Sewing Project: Boxers
I decided to make a pair of boxers as my first real project. I didn't have a pattern to go by, but I have the internet and a favorite pair to work from. Cutting the yard of fabric wasn't easy, but sewing was harder. Overall, I am about 85% pleased with the results of 4 (newbie) hours of work. I'm guessing someone whose been sewing a while can churn out more than one an hour.
Supplies
I looked at how my favorite boxers were assembled and semi-followed this boxers pattern/guide. Basically, you've got 3 straight/square sides, a short side angled out, and a fifth side. The fifth side has a curve to it and on the front it is where the fly is.
The two back panels should be mirror copies of each other. The front panels should be almost mirror copies of each other, only the fly part will differ slightly.
Working from a tangible pattern will definately save time.
Assembly
Start by sewing the two back pieces along the curved line. Not the easiest seam, but makes assembly a bit easier.
Next attach one of the front pieces to the rear panels along the straight sides. Then the other front panel to the rear in exactly the same way.
Now, make the fly on each of the front pieces. That should make it very easy to see the seam for the front. Sew that up next. Do Not sew up the fly.
Stitch up the crotch and now that the boxers has two legs, assembly is done.
Finishing
First off, hem the left leg then the right, or the right then the left. Whatever move you.
For the waist-band, start at the back. You want to stretch the elastic, but do not make it very tight. When you get 1"-2" from the fly, allow the elastic to be looser until 1"-2" after the fly.
Final Product
Pretty good for 4 newbie hours of work and $5, huh?
IMO, This should not be a first project. I'd suggest making an apron, but if you have patience and want to learn something, go for it. I learned quite a bit in this little project.

The Sewing Machine
My friend gave me a sewing machine last week. After getting a part, I spent last night playing around and doing small super-quick projects. I repaired my favorite pair of sweatpants that had a hole in the crotch. I also made a couple of things smaller to some degree of success.
The one thing I learned is that seams must line up. I can blame it on not having pins or the shaking table or any number of other things, but the truth is I'm just a newbie. Newbiews are bound to make plenty of mistakes.
The sweatpants were 2nd easiest, b/c the longest run was 5 inches. While repairing a pocket, I did a french seam without realizing it. I just copied what it was supposed to look like. I realized it was a french seam (and I skipped the ironing parts) after seeing it in a pattern online.
One of the alterations was an old pair of cut off sweatpants that were way too big. Now the sweatpants are quite snug :) I do need to alter the front seam, it isn't currently fit for outdoor wear.
My other alteration was an old t-shirt. It was too big as well and is a bit too snug in one arm. I may shorten the sleeves a bit and make the sleeves symmetrically snug. I might just chalk it up to a loss, it was just an old t-shirt.
Anyways, I've got tons of ideas and I'll share them here. I can't promise I'll write every day or even every week, but I'll write whenever something tickles my fancy.
